I logged in this morning to find I have no guild.
There's nothing on the guild website explaining. Nothing telling me what happened. No one's online in the guild.
No warning. No discussion. Nothing. I just have no guild.
I don't know what happened, if I was kicked by accident, if my guild just disbanded, if it was ninja'd and everything's gone...
Just a rude way to wake up on my way to finish my Pilgrim's Progress achievements.
EDIT: Apparently our GM got hacked. But my guild was hanging on by sheer willpower due to some unfortunate recent events, so it's not getting back together. A bunch of our core is transferring to Horde today, so I'm not sure what I'm doing...
EDITEDIT: We may be getting back together. If you're a member of Vigilant (the former one, not the one the trade troll has), please get in contact with me, Grym, Conrad or Blob so we can work on sorting this out.
Wow, that WOULD be jolting. Had that happen once with a guild that I really didn't care either way on, and it still jolted me.

- An officer was hacked.
- Random gkick (don't know your guild but doesn't sound too likely)
- Or (hopefully not) an actual gkick or full guild disband (if your not updated on the armory then probably no one else is as well).
If your seeing no a single person online from your guild then it was probably a gdisband either an actual one or because someone was hacked.
Wow, sorry to hear that. Funny what sort of otherwise minor events can disturb an equilibrium.

That sucks. A similar thing happened to me a little over a year a go. I logged in for raid to find that the guild had been disbanded. The good news for me was that I found a much better guild that I am extremely happy with.

That really sucks. Even when you weren't kicked without notice, losing the people you play with on a daily basis is rough.

Thanks everyone. Our (former) GM is getting it all sorted out, has his characters who did not get transferred back, and much of the guild bank. He's getting in contact with as many people as he can to figure out what's happening next; if we're reforming or splitting up.

D'awwwww. :Comfort Bell: I would be scared if that happened-- and my guild is just a small friend guild that will PuG raids. we know our phone numbers and can call-- it's got to be worse when you can't figure out what happened until someone thinks to tell you..

GM acc hack seems more and more common. Prolly best to get a identyficator thingy from Bliz for all guild member with accsess to bank atleast.
